Evening sunlight

These are pictures I took yesterday at about 5 p.m. The quality of the evening light was just wonderful! It gave me another chance to take some more of my favourite light-and-shade photos.

Dogwood - stems are turning red now...

Another Dogwood - this one's leaves used to be mid-green

Something's had a few bites out of this one...

The Cotinus is looking very "End-of-season"...

    I like the pics. Your dogwoods are slower to loose their leaves than in NI.

    That is rather gorgeous light. It seems important to capture all the sun we can at this time of year.
