Lara

I bet you thought this post would be about my granddaughter Lara. Wrong! It's about a Geranium plant that is also called "Lara". It's older than the little person of the same name. It would be hard to say which one is more beautiful...

This one of mine looked pretty sorry for itself during the Winter, and at one point I thought it was going to die, but it has recovered well, and is now coming back on form.

OK then, just a couple of photos of the other Lara...

Is that a look of bliss, or what??

Stars in her eyes - admiring her idol, Peppa Pig

  3. What are you up to Grandpa? I read a blog recently that had viagra and a few sexy words in the title...the author then admitted he had done it to boost his stats...and it worked he had the most hits that he ever had...I bet your graph goes up when you feature your gorgeous little pixie! Well, i am about to throw down the gauntlet...my little family from the States are visiting next month...wait till you see my grand daughter!

  5. Hazel, I think you are perhaps being a bit uncharitable! I haven't noticed any direct correlation between mentions of Lara and increased viewing figures. I just love having her around and she already has such enthusiasm for gardening that she deserves a fair few mentions. I await with eager anticipation the appearance on your blog of the folks from the USA.

  7. I suspect your grandaughter will last the winter rather better! I grew Lara last year, and then managed to kill both it and the cuttings off.
