"Quattro Stagioni"

Yes, I know that is the name of a set of four baroque violin concertos by Vivaldi, as well as a delicious type of pizza. The title was a bluff to get your attention. Sorry to disappoint - this post is simply a collection of four photos that in my opinion epitomise the four seasons of the year. Enjoy!

    I like summer best. I've been scrabbling at the screen to get at those tomatoes - they taste so good when you eat them straight out of the sun . . . but there's a bit of glass in the way and I just . . . can't . . . quite . . .

    All are beautiful photos. Which do I like best? Let's see....Artistically speaking, I think summer is the winner. I really love that photo..the reflections of the ripe tomatoes on the green ones, the play of light and shade and the wee "hairs" on the stems! Beautiful!

    I have to say that Spring is my favourite - maybe cos I was a Spring baby!!! Daffs are still the best flower on the planet (in my humble opinion) and that particular photo is gorgeous. I think you should start selling your prints online..... Have a wonderful Christmas and New Year. x
