New computer

I'm not posting anything significant today, because I am playing with my new toy - a laptop computer. As some of you know, I'm retiring at the end of March, and I thought it was about time I got my own computer, rather than relying on one provided by my company!


So for today, just a couple of "miscellaneous" arty photos...

    Bet you can't wait. Martyn and I both retired in March. it's a good time with the whole of summer ahead.

    It must be EARLY retirement Mark!
    I retired 23 years ago and can recommend it. (I did work doing all kinds of interesting things -as I am sure you will and must - but it was on my own terms)

      Yes, I'll be 62 next month, so officially too young to retire, but I'm doing it mainly for health reasons.

      It's an Acer Travelmate. Fairly run-of-the-mill, but fit for purpose, and keenly priced. It's got to be better than the Toshiba provided by my company, which has been a load of rubbish.
