Monbazillac now you're talking, we picked up some when we visited the Dordoyne a few years ago and are still slowly working our way through the stash. Christmas Day saw a nice 2000 vintage - not sure if 11yrs old is vintage - polished off, lovely stuff!Damohttp://www.twochancesvegplot.co.uk/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-29498355391172432652012-01-09T17:37:55.593+00:002012-01-09T17:37:55.593+00:00Well, I like all kinds and types of cheese availab...Well, I like all kinds and types of cheese available and eat them with great pleasure. So many wonderful wines produced in such a small region, must be time to sort out another trip for this year!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-71268841406279584962012-01-09T12:23:58.597+00:002012-01-09T12:23:58.597+00:00Funny, I had a bit of smoked cheddar for breakfast...Funny, I had a bit of smoked cheddar for breakfast on dark bread. Sounds like a pregnancy craving...you know like gherkins and peanut-butter? ;) I'm fairly conventional when it comes to eating cheese but am a big fan of having it with Ritz crackers (an American brand). I haven't tried the biscuits you mention but I do like things such as tucs or ritz which are salty, I think they go really well with cheese. We usually eat cheese in recipes like quiche and casseroles, macaroni and cheese, or on pizza. Sliced cheese on sandwiches. If we get an especially good block cheese we often just cut off pieces and eat it the way it is.becky3086https://www.blogger.com/profile/01026872543168452124noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-11427713025968083872012-01-08T18:04:30.443+00:002012-01-08T18:04:30.443+00:00Cheese.
