The plants should be warm enough under the covers and also the snow should provide some protection from cold.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-54040270898364024152010-12-01T01:48:55.678+00:002010-12-01T01:48:55.678+00:00Hello Mark, thanks for visiting my site so i saw y...Hello Mark, thanks for visiting my site so i saw yours. I heard from TV news that it really is snowing hard now in UK, and i saw it in blogs in Ireland and Scotland too. I haven't seen snow in person, just when its already melting in the mountain of Turkey. I can't imagine the feeling and i pity the plants and small animals, and the people who devoted long man-hours tending their gardens. But your photos are great, i especially love those designs in the greenhouse.Andreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06044386271018560595noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-16860783224887930422010-11-30T22:05:16.687+00:002010-11-30T22:05:16.687+00:00We had snow all day in Salisbury too. This year's winter in Japan is gonna be very cold due to the hot summer this year according to weather forecasts as well as heavier snow so I and my wife have to get prepared for severe winter with setting vinyl tunnels.takaekohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02935915593745969292noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-20947735318521631242010-11-30T15:27:21.323+00:002010-11-30T15:27:21.323+00:00Hi Eliza; Thanks for visiting my blog. Actually what you see in my picture is not polytunnels (I wish they were...) but simply some horticultural fleece stretched over some plastic hoops. Better than nothing, but "Could do better"... The snow may well get too heavy and they might collapse.Mark Willishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04558305122821209520noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-53768687232139786832010-11-30T15:18:27.922+00:002010-11-30T15:18:27.922+00:00Your plot looks delicious even with a coating of s...Your plot looks delicious even with a coating of snow on it!
