The texture is less fleshy though. I only eat the small leaves, whereas with Water Cress I like the stems too.Mark Willishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04558305122821209520noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-49627778939745527962011-10-18T12:24:11.884+01:002011-10-18T12:24:11.884+01:00That land cress looks interesting, does it taste l...That land cress looks interesting, does it taste like watercress? - I would give watercress a go too though (presuming you like it of course) - it grows well here in a normal garden bed and I don't give it anymore water than my other veg. It tasted and looked like the watercress I ate in England so I think it is watercress I'm growing.... It is best here over the winter months and is just going to seed now. So perfect for your summer - he he he - sorry couldn't resist, maybe Spring?Lizhttp://www.suburbantomato.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-22164311665653186422011-10-18T12:13:14.012+01:002011-10-18T12:13:14.012+01:00Buddleas will grow from cuttings.Buddleas will grow from cuttings.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-41032089426192876822011-10-18T11:54:20.340+01:002011-10-18T11:54:20.340+01:00I always consider spring to be a busy time and for...I always consider spring to be a busy time and forget how busy it can be at this time of year too. I've grown water cress before, without the running water. I planted it in a container and stood it in water, which I changed every couple of days, it was very successful. I love wallflowers, in fact, now I've seen your's I might treat myself. My garden is always missing colour early and late in the season.Johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17436932004631816039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-78817580578931063262011-10-18T11:16:28.460+01:002011-10-18T11:16:28.460+01:00Hate to be smug - well OK I don't - but we go...Hate to be smug - well OK I don't - but we got eleven wallflowers for £2.50 but then again we aren't in the affluent south!

I usually cut back my buddleias in spring. They do tend to self seed - we have one on our plot growing in the middle of our ex strawberry bed! I have seen them growing on top of walls and even in guttering!Sue Garretthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08164518448098182276noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-11847190283706658272011-10-17T23:52:17.479+01:002011-10-17T23:52:17.479+01:00I love autumn too...but hate the thought that wint...I love autumn too...but hate the thought that winter is around the corner. As I get older, time seems to be speeding up. It only feels like yesterday when you were ceremoniously removing the fleece from your veggie patch.Hazelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16577208643431414375noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-82299033858400164692011-10-17T20:05:29.603+01:002011-10-17T20:05:29.603+01:00There's plenty to do at this time of year and ...There's plenty to do at this time of year and being away last weekend means playing catch up again!Damohttp://www.twochancesvegplot.co.uk/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-82629214007078383032011-10-17T19:48:05.220+01:002011-10-17T19:48:05.220+01:00I love Autumn time here it lasts untill January th...I love Autumn time here it lasts untill January then two months of winter and back to spring and summer.cathy@homehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10280998274935488909noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-53232714400733665052011-10-17T17:47:30.254+01:002011-10-17T17:47:30.254+01:00There's something very satisfying about autumn...There's something very satisfying about autumn.Esther Montgomeryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05412078991551799972noreply@blogger.com
