Bulbs in the garden are buried deep and come back year on year - even my tulips have come back for a second season - I'm curious to see if they come back again next spring. All those little bulblets will eventually bulk up to size so it's worth planting them, if only in their own pot, until next year when they should be bigger. PS. I've always had good results with supermarket bulbs. So far this y...I never spend very much on my bulbs. So far this year I've bought some alliums from Morrisons and some tulips from Wilkos. I grow my bulbs in pots too and then put them in the ground when they've finished flowering, they do quite well and usually continue to flower in subsequent years.
