I didn't realise brokali also had edible flower heads. I thought it was just the leaves that you ate. We've never grown sprouts where you didn't need to take away one or two leaves before eating. Your asparagus looks at exactly the same stage as mine - this is my first year with asparagus and I'm quite enjoying the look of all the ferns on the hilltop.Margarethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15949946977793864054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-43833222084294963732015-11-14T17:42:27.982+00:002015-11-14T17:42:27.982+00:00Michelle, I presume that what you call worms are w...Michelle, I presume that what you call worms are what we call caterpillars? If that is so, I have very few of them, thanks to my anti-butterfly netting! not many aphids about at present but Whitefly is the real problem, and there is not much one can do about it.Mark Willishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04558305122821209520noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-70700390658440716322015-11-14T17:15:36.698+00:002015-11-14T17:15:36.698+00:00PSB already, I'm very jealous. I found a ripe strawberry on my alpine strawberry plant in the garden this week, I don't think the plants realise that winter's on the way.Johttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17436932004631816039noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-12139075140069253272015-11-14T15:27:35.854+00:002015-11-14T15:27:35.854+00:00Beautiful broccoli! It seems that you have a lot of problems with cabbage worms in your brassicas but you don't mention aphids. The worms aren't too much of a problem in my garden but the aphids can take over in a flash. The broccolis look very promising with all those side shoots.Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07812702328134261533noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-89876725194246667082015-11-14T14:16:42.792+00:002015-11-14T14:16:42.792+00:00Everything looks so pretty to me, crisp and clean....Everything looks so pretty to me, crisp and clean.
