The odd loss is part of the game!
I wonder why you have so many millipedes, I rarely see any and rush to take a picture for possible use on my blog. Seriously I wonder why you have so many?
They certainly could be a cause of your plant death.
On the other hand I am always suspicious of fancy new varieties, they rarely have the constitution of standard varieties. I think I will stick to my Marshalls Burpless ridge cucumber! If plants are struggling they will frequently succumb to pests such as your millipedes.Roger Brook - No Dig Gardenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16210160273591839142noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-48124477310907620012013-06-26T19:27:49.854+01:002013-06-26T19:27:49.854+01:00What cunning and hungry creatures! What cunning and hungry creatures!Dewberry / Amanitahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15414491661460075503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-30983545268688796312013-06-26T19:10:42.043+01:002013-06-26T19:10:42.043+01:00Sue, they were tiny - but evidently with voracious...Sue, they were tiny - but evidently with voracious appetites!Mark Willishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04558305122821209520noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-11900240194304618172013-06-26T17:40:23.101+01:002013-06-26T17:40:23.101+01:00Millipedes will eat cucumber roots, Mark.
