Some are starting to germinate, which I always find exciting. I also always find it hard to throw seedlings away, even though I always end up with way more than I need. That's where gardening friends come in useful. The Quirky Bird Gardenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13857611654337366532noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-38562138091957740442015-03-03T14:22:17.158+00:002015-03-03T14:22:17.158+00:00I started my peppers just over a week ago & ma...I started my peppers just over a week ago & many are just starting to peek through the soil. I had the impression that chillies took an incredibly long time to come up because last year I only grew one variety (Hungarian Hot Wax) and, of course, it turned out to be a very slow germinator. This year, all of the varieties I'm growing have been super quick (comparatively speaking), except, of course, for the Hot Wax...it's still at the back of the pack.

I'm the worst when it comes to thinning out seedlings - such potential lies in each one that I find it incredibly hard to get rid of any of them. That's probably why I try to avoid doing that as much as possible by pre-germinating and/or sowing the bare minimum number of seeds.Margarethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15949946977793864054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-75199654749281859402015-03-03T14:15:45.123+00:002015-03-03T14:15:45.123+00:00You look off to a good start with your chilli plan...You look off to a good start with your chilli plantationSue Garretthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08164518448098182276noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-42294309140159359222015-03-03T13:43:58.362+00:002015-03-03T13:43:58.362+00:00What are you going to do with all those extra seed...What are you going to do with all those extra seedlings?
