Now I have a fleshier leaved spreading thyme which I can pick from throughout the winter. I use it a lot in winter cooking.Carohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11317388242574705433noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-62245777264693889462017-05-09T00:46:55.649+01:002017-05-09T00:46:55.649+01:00Chives are always the first to get going in the sp...Chives are always the first to get going in the spring - they've been producing for a while now while most of my other perennial herbs are just waking up.Margarethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15949946977793864054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-24876925908362956872017-05-08T23:40:33.707+01:002017-05-08T23:40:33.707+01:00I cut lots of chives today to freeze. We have some in a pot in the garden but we've got a 'feral' mint colony on the borders of our allotment plot as well. Delicious and pretty.

Glad to see your cucumbers are doing something - ours are still sulking in their pots (I'm resisting the urge to scrape back the soil and see if there's anything happening!)Abihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02173921314053990113noreply@blogger.com
