I saw something coming up that I wasn't too sure about so have potted one of them up to see what it grows into. So, even if yours isn't hellebore, you have given me food for thought!
(I think yours probably are hellbores though - too much of a coincidence that they are coming up where you chucked the seeds)Hastings gardenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03807026709733410060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-50689241664714134122014-04-08T19:16:32.871+01:002014-04-08T19:16:32.871+01:00Yes, sorry, Elaine, I was too impatient! Nonetheless, I'm really glad these seeds have germinated, and I look forward to having some beautiful Hellebores like yours.Mark Willishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04558305122821209520noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-48321382964673334822014-04-08T13:46:18.466+01:002014-04-08T13:46:18.466+01:00Such interesting plant! The first pair of leaves (cotyledon) looks the same in almost all plants, wait for the true leaves and see what it is. I too have plenty of Helleborus seedlings in my garden. I have planted some of them in pots and will get them back when I finish tiding up the beds.
Vesna Marichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12265502263728106716noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-68338941529336211012014-04-08T12:47:57.679+01:002014-04-08T12:47:57.679+01:00I'm hopeless at recognising seedlings.
