I also like daffodils and of course they are everywhere at present. foreveryounghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01002606904293192832noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-31361519735567518182015-03-22T20:00:47.846+00:002015-03-22T20:00:47.846+00:00Lovely Lovely David Fordhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02276760687239662781noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-39428691718170562512015-03-22T19:01:30.068+00:002015-03-22T19:01:30.068+00:00Lovely, Hellebores are beautiful, but as you have ...Lovely, Hellebores are beautiful, but as you have seen, photographing them is not easy! But I do like the thrill of upturning the flowers and seeing if they are spotted, doubles and so on. It sounds as if you ought to have a look at my post(s) about re-potting Bay trees (use the "Search this blog" facility in the sidebar.)Mark Willishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04558305122821209520noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-27152213704591061202015-03-22T12:56:33.369+00:002015-03-22T12:56:33.369+00:00I love hellibores as well and we have quite a few...I love hellibores as well and we have quite a few in our garden. My efforts at photos are not quite as good as yours though. We have had a wonderful display this spring and probably have about twenty plants. I picked up the idea of floating the flower buds in water from Monty Don and it is certainly a great idea in order to see them properly. Just started following your blog and finding it most helpful gardening-wise as I am not really a gardener but do like pots and have been following your advice about re-potting. About to try and re-pot a fig tree which is 3/4 years old. That should be interesting! foreveryounghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01002606904293192832noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-28281011406752911702015-03-22T12:55:00.515+00:002015-03-22T12:55:00.515+00:00Those are just lovely - I especially like the mult...Those are just lovely - I especially like the multitude of ruffled petals.Margarethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15949946977793864054noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3840827850297141825.post-6914740376769040522015-03-22T12:41:37.346+00:002015-03-22T12:41:37.346+00:00I like those last ones a lot. Though around here they don't bloom much earlier than the bulbs. Once the ground unfreezes everything takes off at once.
